What do pond dyes do?
Pond dye deepens your water to a natural blue or blue-green, enhancing its appearance while shading the water to limit the sunlight that submerged algae and weeds rely on.

Yes. Our pond dyes are formulated to be safe for fish, pets, livestock and wildlife when used as directed.
Will pond dye stain my hands, dock or liner?
Dye is highly concentrated, so handle it carefully and follow the label. Once diluted in the pond it disperses quickly; take normal care to avoid concentrated splashes on skin, clothing or hard surfaces.
How long does pond dye last?
Colour gradually fades as water is diluted by rain, runoff and outflow, so dye is topped up periodically through the season. Follow the label for your water volume.
Does dye replace a conditioner?
No. Dye improves appearance and shades the water, but it doesn’t digest muck or nutrients. For the best results, use dye alongside a conditioner and aeration.
